About Us

Hello and welcome. We are the founders of No Outcome Art, a place for everyone, a place to belong. We love creating and making our own work but we especially love working with the community. We have been married since 2012, we have two adopted children and two scruffy dogs. Below is a little bit about us and our work.

About Alice:

After graduating with a  degree in Classical Drama and Creative Writing Alice went onto work in several theatre companies and walk about outdoor shows. This led on to an interest in outdoor performance, street performance and outdoor art. Alice has created work that has been exhibited in galleries, art centres and large scale outdoor festivals. Alice currently works as an associate artist for MK Gallery, working with children and young people with complex needs. She is also a resident artist at Milton Keynes Arts Centre where she enjoys creating new work. Alice is currently training with Nose to Nose clowning company to complete her clowning studies.

About Shauna:

Shauna studied Psychology at Northampton University and went onto study an MA in Mental Health Studies at Kings College London. She has worked with learning disability and mental health in schools and rehabilitation units. She has also studied CBT and worked as a Mental Health Therapist for over 7 years. Photography, painting and creating has always been a keen personal exploration, so collaborating with Alice and exploring human behaviour through various art forms feels like a comfortable and natural progression.  Shauna is a resident artist at Milton Keynes Art centre where she runs workshops for children and young people.

Shalicefinds: The work we do together

Work by Shalicefinds can be described as collaborative feminine art, drawing inspiration from human connection as well as the relationships we have with the world around us. Shauna and Alice’s joint practice aims to collaborate on skills and experience to create work around subjects of feminism, body image and mental health. We are body positive and body inclusive artists, we host adult body-centred workshops that happen throughout the year at our private studio in Milton Keynes. These usually take place in the summer so keep an eye on our social media for dates of up coming workshops.
